3 Great Resources for Milspouse Entrepreneurs

Let’s be real - starting and growing a business as a military spouse comes with its own set of challenges. Frequent moves, unpredictable schedules, and solo-parenting stints can make it feel like you’re constantly rebuilding from scratch. But here’s the good news: there are amazing resources built just for us. Whether you're selling handmade products, offering services, or just getting your business idea off the ground, these platforms were created to support and elevate military spouse entrepreneurs.

Here are three of my favorite resources for milspouse biz owners:

1. Spouse-ly

  • Why it’s great: Think Etsy, but exclusively for military and first responder families. Spouse-ly is an online marketplace that supports milspouse and veteran entrepreneurs by giving them a platform to sell their handmade goods, digital products, and professional services. Whether you’re a maker, a designer, or a coach, Spouse-ly helps your business get visibility and credibility.

  • Website: spouse-ly.com

2. Milspouse Chamber of Commerce

  • Why it’s great: The U.S. Military Spouse Chamber of Commerce is the first and only chamber of commerce dedicated to military spouse business owners. They advocate for economic empowerment and provide official certification to recognize and legitimize your business as a "milspouse-owned enterprise" - which can open up funding, partnerships, and more.

  • Website: milspousechamber.org

3. The Rosie Network

  • Why it’s great: The Rosie Network is a nonprofit dedicated to helping military spouses (and veterans) successfully launch and grow their businesses. Their Service2CEO program is a no-cost, 12-week business incubator with training in marketing, finance, legal, branding, and more.

  • Website: therosienetwork.org

If you’ve ever felt like you’re building your business solo, these organizations are your reminder that you don’t have to do it alone.

Whether you're looking for community, visibility, or guidance - Spouse-ly, the Milspouse Chamber of Commerce, and The Rosie Network have your back.

You’ve got the vision and these resources will help carry it forward.
